About config files:

  • Different phones need different settings. Config files allow users to quickly import (load) and export settings.
  • If GCam doesn't work well on your phone, try one of these configs created by the community.
  • If more than one config is available, try the first one. If you're not happy, try the second one (and so on). There's no need to test all files.

How to load configs:

  1. Install and open GCam and give it all permissions.
  2. Download the config file(s).
  3. Create a folder called "3.2Config" in the root of your storage (next to Android, DCIM, etc).
  4. Move the downloaded config to the "/3.2Config" folder.
  5. Open GCam, double click the black area around the capture button » select the config » and click "apply".
  6. The config has been loaded.

Configs:

- The config folder is at /3.2Config in the root of your storage (next to Android, DCIM, etc).
- Move configs to this folder to load them. Saved configs are also saved here.
